The return of awesomeness!

                           My favourite panda in the whole wide world

My family and I have eagerly been waiting for the return of The Dragon Warrior , Po. Last weekend, we made it to the movie theatre to watch Kung Fu Panda sequel. Well, what's my verdict??? Yep, totally brilliant. PIXAR should be worried because DREAMWORKS is finally catching up from strength to strength. This movie is totally funny. I have always loved Jack Black. I think he is so..... talented.

The star studded voice talents really made the film a success. The ending of the movie suggests that there's another sequel coming. Simply awesome!!!

Older and wiser

Now that I'm older and wiser, I realise that:

1. It is better to forgive, forget and move on. Don't hold grudges, they are not good for you.

2.     standing on a pair of high heels for a few hours can kill me!!
3.     unconditional love is the best love, ever!!
4.    a compliment from my other half can really make my day.

5.      your children's favourite tv programmes will be your favourites too!
6.      a few strands of grey hair give you the privilege to give free advice.
7.      not all in-fashion clothes make you look good.
8.      nothing beats reading a good novel while drinking a cup of hot milo.
9.      patience is really a virtue.  It defines who we are.

All the world is a birthday cake, so take a piece, but not too much.

Yesterday was my eldest child's birthday. Hazim is 13 years old now. I managed to dig up an old poem I wrote for him when he was 3 months old.

God's Gift

Thank you for entering our lives

for brighten up our days

your dimples make us forget our fear

and watching you smile

make the hearts grow warmer

A face so pure and true

may it stay the same way too.

Family's Day Out

Sometimes grocery shopping is such a chore! The long queue, the crowd and the colourful characters you meet at the the store can really get on your nerves. However, last weekend was really a fun time for my family and I.

There are many ways to dissolve stress. You just need to find out what makes you happy.
